Huang Wan

Huang Wan is currently a Ph.D. student in sociology at Texas A&M University, majoring in demography and minoring in crime, law, and deviance. With a focus on migrant workers and their families, Wan explores the societal impact of China's urbanization by integrating both sociological and social psychological insights into her research. Before shifting to sociology, she was a graduate of journalism and documentary filmmaking from the Journalism and Media Studies Center, the University of Hong Kong.
