Johanna Hemminger

Master in Medical Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh

Johanna is a recent graduate of the Master’s program in Medical Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh. Prior to starting her degree, she worked in tourism and education in Beijing with international and local companies for over four years. She is also an avid writer who has published pieces about daily life and navigating new or different systems. Her research interests include anthropological inquiries into (and intersections among) travel and tourism, health, technological development, and daily life.
